A Day at the Beach.

I’m writing this post from my hotel room in Conroe, Texas which is a suburb of Houston. I’m here until Sunday with my partner as he has business to conduct down here and so far it’s been pretty nice. We landed on Tuesday and decided to go to Surfside Beach, which borders the Gulf of Mexico, as he didn’t have anything to do and it was where his family used to vacation when he was a child. Compared to some of the beaches I grew up with, it was pretty different. You can take your car on the sand, alcohol is allowed, bonfires are allowed, there’s no boardwalk. It was different but nice. Since the water was too cold for me to really go into it, I decided to spend some quality time with my camera. I hope these pictures bring a little bit of summer into your life.
